Cemetery

The cemetery at Murrisk Abbey has been the burial site of local families throughout the centuries. Murrisk Development Association has installed a locator board at the entrance to the graveyard to enable individual and family graves to be easily found. At Glaspatrick there are the remains of a small medieval church and graveyard dating to the early 11th century. Although there were burials in the graveyard until recent years, it is now no longer in use.
