The Association was established in 1994 as a voluntary community group. It acts as the voice of the community and promotes community and village development.

Community Café Committee
Members manage and co-ordinate the running of the café. The Committee is a sub-group of the Murrisk Development Association.

Tidy Towns & Villages Committee

The Committee organises the annual Pattern Day usually held towards the end of August each year. It is a sub-group of the Murrisk Development Association.
